A totally interactive workshop where Jim will demo and talk about form, decoration and tecnique. He begins with the cylinder, progresses to a series of vertical forms, lidded containers followed by plates and bowls.

"I really stress the basic principles of making the cylinder because it is the foundation of wheel throwing. During the week I address the relationship of surface to form, discuss differant decorating tecniques, alter forms, discuss the assembly of component parts and really try to purvey the joy of making functional pots."

Jim offers a variety of workshops to all skill levels. Sample workshop outlines will be posted shortly.
